To Whom It May Concern

                                  its easier to go through the motions 

to exemplify what we want to be 

to convince those around us or to convince ourselves 

maybe we motivate others 

secretly motivating ourselves 

can you relate 

to my words with certainty 

you consume for you 

and that's okay 

we were taught 

to behave this way 

we see what is done and said 

taking it for what we will 

but why do they do or say it 

self help you do it for you 

we got something out of it all
