Palm oil
King Guezo, grandfather of king Behanzin, promoted the agriculture of palm trees. Since then palm trees have been spreading throughout the country. Especially in central and south Benin palm trees are found. The Oueme and the Plateau region are well-known for their big scale palm production. We work with small units of woman who take care of the transformation into red oil. We export the red palm oil in flexitanks and plastic bottles of 25l. Le roi Guézo, grand-père du roi Béhanzin, promu l'agriculture de palmiers. Depuis lors, les palmiers ont été répand à travers le pays. Surtout dans le centre et le sud du Bénin palmiers se trouvent. L'Ouémé et du Plateau sont bien connus pour leur production à l'échelle de palme grande. Nous travaillons avec de petites unités de la femme qui prennent soin de la transformation en huile rouge. Nous exportons l'huile de palme rouge dans Flexitank et bouteilles en plastique de 25l.
